The Detail Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring our John Deere equipment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Candidates should be comfortable working with various cleaning products, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and capable of standing, stooping, and bending as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and detail both new and used customer and dealer-owned equipment, focusing on both exterior and interior detailing.
- Deliver professional finished products, ensuring equipment’s cleanliness and presentation meet our standards.
- Lot maintenance and equipment movement for the Sales Department.
- Unload equipment when it arrives
- Provide back up snow removal
- Daily inspections of forklifts
- Clean shop while there is downtime in the washbay
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety protocols while completing assignments.
- Ensure company vehicles, inventory, and tools are properly maintained and in working condition.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished equipment before delivery to customers.
- Wash vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes.
- Undertake other duties or projects as assigned by management.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently and efficiently.
- Capable of standing for extended periods, often exceeding 8 hours per day.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to work independently
