Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Clinical Data Analyst to join our remote team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to apply their academic knowledge to real-world clinical datasets. You will be responsible for supporting the collection, cleaning, and analysis of clinical trial data under the guidance of our senior analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the processing and validation of clinical data from various sources (e.g., EDC systems, lab reports).
- Perform data cleaning and mapping tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in generating routine reports and summaries for ongoing clinical studies.
- Conduct basic statistical analyses to identify trends and anomalies in datasets.
- Collaborate with team members to document data management processes.
- Ensure all activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- Foundational understanding of clinical research concepts (e.g., GCP, clinical trial phases).
- Academic or project-based experience with data analysis tools, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with clinical data standards (CDISC, SDTM) is a significant plus.
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
